CAT COATED BEARINGS

Developed as a solution to around-the-clock mining applications in large mining trucks, Cat coated bearings use a Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coating that provides a protective barrier on the component surface. This coated surface effectively resists scratches and scrapes that can lead to frictional wear.
This project required photoshop work to
add the "look" of the coating to existing
components when photography for the coated component didn't exist yet. The coating had to appear smooth and thick
and be a certain color.
